BIO

Hi, I’m Sonata. I’m a Counselor who believes you don’t have to have it all figured out to start therapy. I graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and earned my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University.

In my work, I often support clients who are feeling anxious, burned out, or disconnected from themselves, the people who’ve spent so much time meeting everyone else’s expectations that they’ve lost sight of their own needs. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on helping you reconnect with your sense of self.

I draw from person-centered therapy and cognitive-behavioral techniques to help you challenge unhelpful thought patterns and build healthier ways of coping. I’m also trained in Brainspotting, a powerful mind-body approach that helps process and release stored emotional pain.

More than anything, I want therapy to feel like a safe place for you to breathe, reflect, and grow. You deserve to feel grounded, seen, and at home in your own life , and I’d be honored to walk alongside you in that process.
